Camp Electric has an awesome interning program!
We encourage anyone, especially Camp Electric alum, to apply to be an intern. Just as chaperones minister to the students of CE, interns minister to the staff. Interns come alongside the CE staff to carry out office, backstage and organizational duties. They also have the opportunity to sit in on classes and get to go to each and every concert. Also, CE Staff is happy to give letters of recommendation (upon request) for any student who is successful throughout the week as an intern.
As with the chaperones, there is a small fee associated with interning to help cover meals and lodging. Interning with CE is a privilege, and we take the application process very seriously. A background check will be completed for all applicants, and church and community references will be called. There are limited spots available, and selection is based upon the application, reference recommendation, and background checks.

What an Intern does at camp.

Assists in the check-in process and airport runs. (you will be assigned into specific groups)

Helps oversee artist load-in and load-out.

Production office. (help the CE staff with key roles.)

Instructor Rooms. Provide assistance with instructor room set-ups.

Daily intern meetings. (these help ensure questions are answered and daily activities run smoothly)
