Taylor Carroll began playing drums at the young age of nine. Son of multiple Grammy and Dove award winning artist Bruce Carroll, music became a part of his life during his childhood. Taylor also began songwriting and playing guitar as he grew up, as well as playing drums. While Taylor was attending high school, he formed many bands that played locally in the Memphis/Nashville music scene. After a few of his teenage years playing drums, he wanted to branch out and be a touring musician. In March 2009, Taylor became a full-time drummer/member of rock band "Pillar". During his time with the band, Pillar released their new album "Confessions". In April 2010, Taylor teamed up with producer, Malcolm Springer (Collective Soul, Full Devil Jacket, Greenwheel, Matchbox 20, etc.) to work for Angelcrush records as one of Malcolm's producers. Songwriting and producing are Taylor's other focuses, as well as being a positive influence and reaching out to encourage younger musicians. Other bands that Taylor has played with include After Edmund, Air Five, Brett Manning, Bruce Carroll, Cayerio, Day of Fire, Our Hearts Hero, Peasall Sisters, Pillar, and many more.
